About the Job
As Product Development Assistant, you will be a key liaison communicating with our automotive and agricultural licensees ensuring brand guidelines are followed with your keen eye for detail. Your day-to-day will include communicating externally with our factories and suppliers, negotiating costs and sourcing new product ideas.
Responsibilities:
-Professionally communicate with local and overseas vendors to ensure standards are met within the timeline and scheduled deadlines for each season.
-Negotiate costing, delivery, and terms with vendors for ball caps and accessories.
-Generate new part numbers for garments in Excel spreadsheets.
-Research and source new ideas for product lines.
-Liaison with licensees to manage and track approvals.
40 – 55K salary

-Post-secondary education, education in fashion or garment construction would be considered an asset.
-Working knowledge of MS Office.
-Experience with Adobe Illustrator, photo editing and photography skills are an asset.
-Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
-Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adhere to deadlines.
-Attention to detail is essential.
-Ability to work overtime occasionally as business needs.
