Job Description:
Responsibilities:

Assist Cook with basic food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients

Support cooking staff during service as directed (e.g., plating, restocking, simple prep)

Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
-
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed
-
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times

Assist with receiving and storing food supplies properly
-
Dispose of waste and recycling according to procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset but not required
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good time management and teamwork skills
-
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Knowledge of food safety practices (Food Handler Certificate an asset)
