Job Summary
Private crew seeking two (2) skilled drywall installers to join our team full time. Ideal candidates will have experience in installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. They should possess excellent attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship to ensure high-quality workmanship. Drywall installers will work closely with Crew Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Measure and cut drywall to fit specific dimensions, ensuring accuracy and precision
• Install drywall panels to walls, ceilings, and partitions using appropriate tools and techniques
• Secure drywall panels in place by fastening them to wood or metal studs
• Tape, mud, and sand joints to create a seamless and smooth surface
• Repair damaged or cracked drywall by replacing or patching sections as needed
• Apply texture or decorative finishes to drywall surfaces according to project requirements
• Inspect work site to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively to understand project specifications and requirements
• Maintain clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials
• Complete projects within established deadlines while adhering to budget constraints
• Keep abreast of industry trends, techniques, and materials to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements
• Proven experience as a drywall installer or similar role
• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall panels
• Ability to tape, mud, and sand drywall joints to achieve a smooth finish
• Familiarity with various types of drywall textures and finishes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license
• Easy access to work sites in Kawartha region and GTA

Preferred Qualifications
• Certification, apprenticeship or experience in drywall installation or related field
• Experience working on both residential and commercial projects
• Proficiency in operating drywall tools and equipment, such as drywall lifters, taping tools, and sanders
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to drywall installation
