What You’ll Do
– Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on commercial and industrial job sites
– Run conduit, pull wire, and install lighting, panels, and electrical devices
– Support service calls and preventative maintenance work
– Collaborate with journeypersons and team members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule
– Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols
– Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
What You Bring
– 4th or 5th Term Electrical Apprentice (only applicants at these stages will be considered)
– Commercial and industrial experience required
– Strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC)
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
– Hands-on experience with conduit bending, cable pulling, and panel installation
– Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
– Positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior electricians
– Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Requirements
– Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the electrical trade
– Current certifications: Working at Heights, WHMIS, and Worker Health & Safety Awareness
– Ability to commute to Whitby, ON or plan to relocate before starting
– Immediate availability preferred
