Job Summary
Our Brantford and Oshawa, ON branches are currently seeking Journeymen or 4th year Millwrights to join our Services Team. We’re looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment. These are vacant positions.
Main Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Calibrate and Operate precision measuring instruments and tools to diagnose faults and troubleshoot
Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports
Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes
Consult with and advise process operators.
Job Requirements
Must hold a current and valid driver’s license.
Must possess a 433A Industrial Millwright Mechanic Certificate of Qualification or related trade experience.
Basic experience with rigging equipment
Must be able to work with minimal direction
Willingness to travel
Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
Willingness and ability to work in remote locations
