Sales Associate

Rutledge Jewellers – Uxbridge, ON

 

If you’re looking to work local in a friendly and exciting environment this is it! We are currently seeking a sales associate, for a full time position in our jewellery store, experience would be preferred. The perfect candidate is someone who is professional and engaging with customers to build ongoing relationships through customer service.

 

Sales Associate – Full Time:

  • This position is a full time job (40.5 hours per week)
  • The candidate must be able to work Saturdays
  • Benefits are available
  • Jewellery experience and experience with using a computer (POS, retail software) is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet customers entering the store
  • Answer any customer questions to help them make informed purchasing decisions
  • Recommend specific products or services based on the customer’s needs
  • Process customer payments and intake of service work (ie: repairs, cleaning etc.)
  • Assist with daily set-up and take down of the store floor
  • Assist with creating store and window displays as well as light cleaning as needed
  • Inform customers of promotions and sales
  • Keep up-to-date with knowledge for new and existing product lines

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $20.00 – 24.00 per hour based on experience

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week

  • Day shift (9:30- 6:00)

Additional Information:

  • We are looking for a long term employee, this is not for summer position and not suitable for a student.
  • We would prefer 5 days a week (Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) but would consider applicants that can work 4 days a week (Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
