Job Description:

Experienced Kitchen Worker with excellent customer service skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills are required to be displayed at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishware and kitchenware including but not limited to pots, pans, utensils, plates, dishes, cups, and all related areas/equipment
  • Maintain proper level of chemicals in and out of equipment
  • Cooperate with employees to ensure work stations are clean and ready to be handed over to the next shift
  • Empty garbage containers and cardboard bins as required
  • Sweep and mop dish areas as necessary
  • Remove grease as required
  • Maintain highest level of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Maintain cleanliness of food service, food holding and related areas
  • Perform other duties in the kitchen as requested by the chefs and the kitchen manager
  • Perform other duties as required by the Sous Chef.

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen work experience would be an asset
  • WHMIS certified
  • Must be able to work 10 hour shifts
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
