A local company is looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. Must have hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls to warm leads.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is a must.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
.Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
.Find and develop new markets, generate leads and improve sales.
.Prepare sales forecast and Meet sales goals.
.Negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
.Develop quotes, proposals, and promotions.
.Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
.Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
.Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
.Prepare and submitting sales contracts for orders.
.Visit potential clients, promote products & services and maintain client records.
.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
.Experience in sales with insight of the sales process and dynamics.
.A commitment to excellent customer service.
.Excellent organizational, written & verbal communication skills.
.Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
.Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
.Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
.Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
