Job Description:

On behalf of our Client, a professional roofing contracting firm located in Whitby, we are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator! You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the payroll system.
Job Responsibilities:
• Processing payroll on salary and hourly basis
• Setting up new employees in payroll and maintaining their information
• Balancing time and attendance to payroll
• Payroll data entry (employee earnings adjustments, allowances etc.)
• Print and distribute pay statements and/or cheques
• Processing of T4s, T4As, ROE, year-end adjustments, and annual reporting
• Working independently, under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Other payroll duties

$20 – $22 hr

Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

Required skills:

Job Requirements:
• Expert Knowledge in Excel
• Previous payroll experience, one year minimum required
• Knowledge of Ontario Ministry of Labour Laws and Employment Standards Act
