Job Description:


The Junior Bookkeeper assists with business expenses and revenue, daily activities, and monthly financial reporting for multiple companies


• Lead administrator to move our offices to a paperless environment
• Recording entries for accounts payable in QuickBooks Online
• Generation and issuing of invoices through QuickBooks Online
• Assist in management of cashflow
• Bank deposits
• Payment processing (cheque, EFT, wire transfers)

Required skills:


• A Degree or Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred. On the job training will be considered
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Detail-oriented, organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion and confidentiality
• Strong computer skills including QuickBooks, OneDrive, Adobe, and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Comfortable working with multiple companies in a variety of industries
• Ability to work on a team and independently

Although there are times when this job can be done remotely, the expectation is the candidate is within commuting distance to Cannington and will work from the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
