working in a Retail and Clinic Setting (Optometry Office Next Door), however this job posting is for the Optical store side only.
Responsibilities:
Sell products/services to customers (Glasses, Sunglasses, Contact Lenses, and Eye glass accessories)
Receive, process and organize orders
Cleaning/sterilizing Eyeglass/Sunglasses frames
Cleaning the store (emptying garbages, vacuuming, organizing frames, etc…)
Data entry of sales into Microsoft Excel
Follow directions given by employers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Ask questions if unsure of how to complete tasks.
Help patients choose frames and eyewear which fit their needs best.
Check Pupillary Distance (PD; training will be provided)
Required Availability:
Each team member is required to work a minimum of 2-3 Saturday’s per month (there will be instances were 3 Saturday shifts are required, but it will never be every weekend) along with closing shifts (Monday – Thursday we close at 7 pm, Friday we close at 6 pm and Saturday we close at 5 pm). We are closed every Sunday and on long weekends, we close at 3 pm on Saturday. This role is primarily closing shifts.
