We are currently seeking a patient, friendly, and dedicated Customer Service Representative for our online and retail store environments. Key Responsibilities:
Online Store:

• Patiently and efficiently addressing and resolving issues with orders, such as plants that have sustained damage during shipping and issues with the germination of seeds
• Delivering outstanding customer service that aligns with our company values of kindness, empathy, and passion for herbs and gardening
• Responding with empathy and a strong sense of understanding “what the customer wants to hear” to ensure the best possible experience for every customer
• Acting as the liaison between experts and customers for inquiries regarding plant care, plant suggestions, or questions about the uses of herbs
• Support with the processing and invoicing of online orders
Retail Store:
• Customer Service: Assist customers, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Sales: Actively engage with customers to promote products, up sell, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Merchandising: Maintain visual appeal by arranging products on shelves, racks and displays, ensuring they’re organized, clean, and well-presented.
• Plant care: Tending to plants watering them and cutting back as needed.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and notify management of low inventory to prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the features, benefits and uses of products to effectively communicate information to customers.
• Price Labelling: Ensure accurate pricing and labelling of products, promotions and discounts.
• Loss Prevention: Help prevent losses by remaining vigilant, following procedures for plant care.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions accurately using cash register point of sale system.
• Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback, preferences and concerns to assist in improving the store’s offerings and service.
• Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment by tidying up shelves, cleaning display areas and ensuring a safe shopping environment.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth store operations, including sharing insights on customer preferences and trends.

Work Schedule:
This is a full time position utilizing your skills and experience for our online and retail operations.
