Plates all meals and ensures Resident food preferences are respected,
Keeps the kitchen area and equipment clean,
Maintains a safe working environment,
assists in the FIFO process of food and supply products
Works collaboratively with all Food Services and other departments associates,
Other duties as assigned.

Cobourg Retirement Residence are as follows:
-Knowledge of special and therapeutic diets,
-Familiar with weights and measurements, recipe conversion and portion control,
-Completion of Safe Food Handlers Certification course,
-Knowledge of Ontario Food Premises Regulation and Canada’s Food Guide,
-Ability to work within and promote a team environment,
-Must enjoy working with Residents,
-Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,
-Must be able to read, write and understand English,
-Highly organized and able to work independently,
-Must have a clear vulnerable sector screen, no older than 6 months, TB test results less than 6 months old, and must be able to provide three supervisory references.
-Cobourg Retirement Residence recognizes the importance of immunization to protect our residents, staff and others from COVID-19.
