Job Description:
Taking apart or constructing scaffolding, bracing and other temporary structures for the construction site.
Digging trenches and backfill holes to prepare for the construction site.
Operating equipment and heavy machinery used in construction sites.
Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors.
Loading and unloading building materials.
Cleaning the construction site by removing hazards materials and debris from the worksite.
Assisting craft workers such as carpenters or electricians with their duties, if needed.
Salary starts at (Negotiable) per/ hour defined by experience in the trade.

Required skills:
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license to access jobs in the Durham Region and GTA area as well as a police check which is necessary for security projects.
Applicants must have Global WHMIS, Working at Heights, and First Aid.
Applicants must be able to work with power tools in construction.
Applicants must be physically fit and be able to work 8-11 hours if necessary. Evenings and Weekends are compulsory in the summer in the Durham/GTA Region.
Applicants must have good work skills, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Some trade experience is recommended.
Must be willing to take orientation training and read all practices and procedures.
Must be willing to take instruction from supervisors/carpenters on site
Must be punctual at site.
