Job Description:
Ensure the smooth set and operation of the Flow Wrap Machines.
Conducts start up checks and routine inspection to minimize machinery downtime and product wastage.
Oversee the set up and optimization of flow wrap machines.
Oversee machine and assembly staff on assigned shift to ensure compliance with safety and to achieve daily and weekly production goals.
Perform routine minor maintenance and adjustments to equipment as required.
Ensure optimal quality of the finished products at the designated machine target rates.
Enter production data and print associated labels.
Oversee material handlers to ensure material handling activities are effectively carried out to reduce machine downtime.
Assist Lead Hand in producing SOP’s for the machines and department using MS Word.
Assist with Cycle counts throughout the facility.
Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION
• Minimum 1-2 years as a Machine Operator or comparable position.
• High school graduate or equivalent qualification.
• Manufacturing experience and assets.
• Must be able to use a computer with Microsoft Word
