Job Description:
A service-driven paper and packaging products company, Atlantic Packaging has grown to become one of Canada’s largest paper manufacturers and a leading producer of packaging products. Our organization employs approximately 2000 people at eight manufacturing facilities and four distribution centers.
We are looking to hire a 3rd or 4th year Tow Motor Mechanic at our New Forest Mill.
Wage: $37.93/hr (4th Year apprentice), $33.72/hr (3rd year apprentice)
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a fleet of mobile equipment for the mill operations group
• Machinery and fabricate as per blueprint
• Repair mobile equipment
• Assist mill maintenance team as directed by the mill management team

Field of Work: Trades
Required skills:
• Must have a valid Ontario Automotive Mechanic License
• Must have full set (up to 24 mm/ 1") of metric & standard tools.
• Electrical/electronic skills are preferred.
• Mobile equipment experience would be an asset.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Must be able to work shifts as well as some extended hours and weekends.
• Qualified applicants will have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills and able to work with other trades and operators.
• Safety training is an asset.
