Camp Manager Job Description
The Camp Manager is responsible for overseeing / managing all daily operations of the camp, and supervising all employees.
We are looking for a candidate who lives no further than 15 minutes from our camp location.
Previous experience as a Supervisor or Manager preferred. Does not need to be in the dog or animal care field.
Salary: $25,000.00 to $30,000.00 /year
Office Management and Customer Relations, Handling all email and phone calls
Client/Dog arrival and departure supervision, Booking client tours / conducting tours
Managing client/dog bookings, Purchasing camp supplies
Client concern management, Shuttle scheduling and co-ordination
Invoicing and payment processing, Providing written updates to Camp Director
Excellent written and oral communication, Excellent organizational skills
Assigning / delegating tasks, Monitoring daily completion of tasks
Scheduling staff hours, Monitoring and submitting time sheets
Assisting with dog care, as needed, Ensuring dogs are being cared for according to DAC guidelines
Training new employees, Basic Computer / Web proficiency
Team management / building, Comfort level with groups of dogs
